What started with Sanchez Machine Shop has grown into two family-owned and operated businesses serving Southwest Florida.
The Sanchez family built its foundation in machining, welding, fabrication, and custom metal work through Sanchez Machine Shop. As the business grew and customers' needs continued to expand, the family saw an opportunity to offer even more.

That led to the addition of Superior Powder Coating.
What began as one family business became two—each with its own specialty, but with the same family behind them.
From Building to Finishing
Sanchez Machine Shop focuses on what happens before the finishing stage: custom fabrication, welding, machining, repairs, and turning an idea into something tangible.
Superior Powder Coating adds the finishing side, providing professional preparation and durable powder coating for metal projects.
Together, that means a project doesn't necessarily have to stop at fabrication or be sent somewhere else for its finish.
It can go from an idea, to metal, to fabrication, to a finished product—all with two businesses that already work side by side.
Growing, But Staying Connected
As both businesses continued to grow, they eventually needed more room to operate.
Sanchez Machine Shop moved into a new location just down the road, giving the shop the space it needed to continue growing and serving its customers.
But moving into separate locations didn't mean the businesses became separate in how they work.
The two companies still collaborate every day.
A project may begin with an idea brought to Sanchez Machine Shop. It may involve custom fabrication, welding, or machining before making its way to Superior Powder Coating for preparation and finishing.
Because the businesses are family-owned and operated, that communication happens naturally.
